Magnetostrictive Linear Position Potentiometer
The magnetostrictive linear displacement transducer generates a pulsed magnetic field by a pulse current emitted along a waveguide, and when the magnetic field intersects with a magnetic field generated by a moving magnet near the waveguide wire, a strain pulse is generated due to the magnetostrictive effect, or the waveguide is twisted.
